In 2024, Luminicia delivered a bespoke decorative lighting project for Galeries Lafayette
Paris, one of the world’s most iconic luxury retail landmarks. Located within a historic Parisian building, the project required a refined lighting approach that would respect architectural heritage while enhancing the contemporary retail experience.
The lighting concept was designed as an integral part of the architecture, subtly revealing
volumes, emphasizing ornamental details, and guiding movement across the multi-level space. Rather than dominating the interior, light was used to enhance perception, atmosphere, and spatial clarity, reinforcing the timeless elegance of Galeries Lafayette.
Drawing on its Italian artisanal heritage, Luminicia crafted custom chandeliers and decorative lighting elements using noble materials such as hand-blown glass, refined brass, and crystal components. Each piece was designed to deliver visual harmony, controlled brilliance, and long-term performance.
The project was executed in close coordination with architectural and technical teams, ensuring seamless integration within an active luxury retail environment.
